Global Seed Sourcing Manager

Founded in 2006, One Acre Fund supplies 1 million smallholder farmers with the agricultural services they need to make their farms vastly more productive. Our 8,000+ team is drawn from diverse backgrounds and professions. With operations across six core countries in Africa, we make farmers more prosperous by providing quality farm supplies on credit, delivered within walking distance of farmers’ homes, and agricultural training to improve harvests. On average, our farmers harvest 50 percent more food after working with One Acre Fund.

The Global Sourcing team brings high-quality, life-changing inputs to our clients as cost efficiently as possible. We source over $70M worth of inputs to One Acre Fund's regional warehouses across 7 countries. As a team, we develop a flexible sourcing strategy, navigate within a complex and evolving regulatory environment and develop tight quality controls to guarantee inputs make it from supplier to OAF warehouse at the best possible price and quality. It is our job to represent the voices of our smallholder farmers at the top of the value chain, bringing them the same purchasing power, state of art quality control mechanisms, and in time deliveries as any large-scale agribusiness.
